Today we did an exercise on hearing. We are asked to guess and identify the notes. It is quiet difficult. Then we did an exercise n writing the notes we hear. Today is also the rehearsel of scale for all music instrument.

Today we first hear the jingle creation of our classmated. then we did an exercise about matching the names of music notation term. I get difficulties in doing the exercise. We also given the result of our transposing of amazing grace exercise. At instrument class i practice and learnn about a minor harmonis and started to play the e minor.

Today we are explained about F ang G clef. Then we did an exercise to transpose a song from G clef to F clef. We can see the book . We are also remind about the jingle finale and review about it. I submit the draft finale and got feedback about it

Today is the assesment od the group jazz performance. Before the asssesment, me and my group got the chance to practice. One of my group member was absent so our group performance was not complete. We also are rermind about the jingle we have to create. I have to keep in mind to submit the draft.

Today, i complete and submit the jingle finale assignment. It was 16 bars. Then we listen to our friends result. I heard some of my friends creation is good. In the next session, we also practice the group song. My group song is "close to you" we finished the song up to the verse and the reff and we are going to work on the ending.

Today i review the blog and homework but since last week i was absent, i did not know about the homework and i cannot upload the video at home because the internet cannot upload it. I will do the task by this week to catch up and try to upload the video in an alternative way.

Today was the singging assesment of the song "i got ryhtm" i sung well but i did not do witrh movement because i got nervous. tahn we are been put to group and practise for the group song. Mr Herry wrote the notes and we copy it so we can practise at home.

Today we had as quiz on the jazz and the notation and chord theory. I did not do well because i got confuse with the scale. I have to study more. I regret of not understanding well about the chord. For the rest of the session, we are back to our group and practice for the song. I started on the intro. I need to practicer again at home

Today we review the answer question jazz genre and write in a big paper. This is to practise us for the quiz. Then we sing the "i got rythm" song. We practise over and over again so we can really know the tempo and the beat. The assesment will be held on next session so i have to practise at home. We also been form into group and rehearse the song. My group get the song "close to you". i did not get much during the practise because the time is over so fast.

Today we review the notation and learn the 9th chord and th1 11th chord. Then we write a question and answer based on the jazz genre booklet we make on term 3. This is for the quiz. Then mr Herry explained to us about the group work that we have to submit our video practice each week. I learn a new song called "i got rythm" this song is given today and we sang it together. I have to learn more about the notation at home.

Today was the 12 bar blues test, but before that i have got the chance to practice with the music. This was the first time i practice with the music. After the practice for couple of times, we were assess one by one but the song is continuing. All of the instruments were asses. I got nervous when playing

Today is the "All of me" test. I played the "All of me" with the piano. Before test, we got the chance to practice. I use that time wisely and practice properly even though i had practice the night before I was nervous when i get to the front. i did not played well. All of the instrument are tested one by one.

Today, we are given the result for the 12 bar blues. I did not get good mark. I still have mistakes. I think i do not correct my draft mistakes properly. Each student have to perform the "all of me" song in front, luckily i have done it last meeting session. At instrument class, we get the chance to practice the "all of me" song before being evaluate by Mr Herry I did the practice for the assessment of playing "all of me" song which will be conducted next week. I need to practice more for the chord and the right hand notes so i can play it together with both hands. I also need to not forget to cut my nails.

Today we tried the "All of me" song one by one in front. Mr Herry wants to know our progression. I think i just progressed only a bit maybe its because i rarely practice. I also get little nervous when playing. I also write my reflection of writing the 12 bar blues notes. At instrument class, we got the chance to practice ourself before we played in front of Mr Herry. We are explained about how the notes of the left hand was played in that way i understand it better and know how to play it. We are also been introduced about the walking bass. I must not forget to cut my nails and needs to practice at home before being tested next week by Mr Herry.

16/02/10 music reflection

Today at first session of music class, we rewrite our finishing correction of bar blues draft on another paper and is to be submitted. Mr Herry also introduced us to boogie bass tunes. It varies from complicated to the complex one. At instrument class, i review the "All of me" song and at last i could play the song until finished. I also been taught how to play the left hand. It is simple if it is seen but quite confusing when we play it, but, i am sure with a lot of practice, i can able to play with both hands. I also should not forget to cut my nails so i can play the piano in the correct way.

Today, we review the 12 bar blues draft that we make our own. Mr Herry played the notes that we create. Listening to my result, i feel awkward. It seems i did not done very well in creating those bar notes since i rarely done it. But, i will try to fix it to make it better. At instrument class, i tried playing the song "all of me" until finished. I still cant play well yet. But i know if i practise regularly, i can play it well.

Today, i collected my music individual project. I did my make up singing test with Florensie. Luckily i did not sing alone. I also did the 12 bar blues draft. I get difficulties in making the 12 bar blues but i tried to make it done. At instrument class, i tried the "All of me" song in piano for the first time. Even though i still press the notes wrongly, i have to practice again at home so i can play better.
